Studying in the UK or Ireland is a pretty attractive prospect for current students, scholars, anglophiles, heritage students, and Harry Potter fans alike. There is something delightful about studying in a country where people speak your native tongue but in a surprisingly different fashion– it makes for reflections on the convergence and divergence of cultural, academic, and social norms and values. However, financing international opportunities is a big question for most and is even a make-it-or-break-it factor for some.
